Celebrating 'Software Freedom' @ Access Space and Sheffield Train Station

Software Freedom Day 2011

Software Freedom Day is a yearly celebration for Software Freedom! Every year there are thousands teams organizing Software Freedom Day in different countries and cities.

This year Access Space and other members of the Free Software community in South Yorkshire will be talking to the public in Sheffield Train Station demoing and giving away CD's of Free Software.

We will also be hosting a celebration in Access Space inviting local Free Software developers to join us to show off their stuff and have Free Beer. And inviting the public to come down and get help choosing and using Free Software, to meet Free Software Developers, and to learn about the help and support that they can get with Free Software in the future.

There will be refreshments provided in Access Space.

We will be showing Movies made with Free Software and chatting to teams celebrating SFD around the country.

If you would like to help on the day please email martyn@access-space.org with the time you can come down and where you would like to help.

If you could support our efforts with a donation please consider becoming our Friend or just use
